I am a registered counsellor with extensive personal and professional experience spanning many years. I enjoy working with individuals and couples on relationship issues to improve communication, problem solving and conflict resolution.
When working with individuals I witnessed how strong solid relationships can heal emotional wounds from the past and the present while empowering growth. I also understand how a lack of trust and poor communication can result in relationship breakdowns that can develop into low self-esteem, stress, anxiety, depression and PTSD.
Whether seeing someone individually or as a couple I use various techniques including gottman therapy, solution focused therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and mindfulness.
With a non-judgemental, warm and compassionate approach I provide a safe environment to discuss issues of concern. I believe that through collaboration, focus and commitment anyone can change their life for the better.
